Reduced wall thickness on the front fork steerer tube may result in the steerer tube breaking during use.
The hazards to consumers
If the front fork steerer tube breaks, this may lead to a loss of control of the bicycle and result in fall injuries.
What consumers should do
Cease using the bicycle immediately. Take the bicycle to the place of purchase to have the fork inspected. If the fork is part of the affected batches, it will be replaced free of charge.
