What are the defects?
The monkey bike steering does not meet the requirements of the Consumer Protection Notice No. 24 of 2011. When the front wheel of the motorbike is raised off the ground, the steering head system does not move freely under it's own weight from right lock to left lock due to cabling routing and bodywork.
What are the hazards?
This may increase the risk of an accident, posing an injury risk to the rider.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should immediately stop using the monkey bike until the front bodywork has been removed.
