Why the product is recalled
The baby cot does not comply with the mandatory Australian standard AS/NZS 2172:2003. Further testing has found there may be multiple failures with labelling, drop sides, dimensions, sharp edges and points and marking requirements.
What the hazards are to consumers
The cot failed to comply with the various design, safety and performance and marking requirements of the mandatory standard. The product poses numerous risks, including an entrapment hazard to infants using this product.
What consumers should do
Cease using the cot immediately. Please contact zOOme to arrange to return the cot in exchange for a full refund.
