Reason the product is recalled

Due to an issue with the chain guard loose clothing may get entrapped in the drivetrain.

The hazards to consumers

Risk of serious injury from fall or collision if clothing is trapped in the drive train while riding. At least one incident has occurred.

What consumers should do

  1. Stop riding affected bicycles immediately
  2. Return bicycles to an Authorised Specialized Retailer to have an updated chain guard fitted free of charge.
