Sunbeam Corporation is conducting a recall in relation to Regency electric blankets sold through Retravision stores and Heritage electric blankets sold in Myer stores between 2010 and 2012.

Reason the product is recalled
The electrical cord may become fatigued and cause an internal short circuit or overheating.
The hazards to consumers
Affected units pose a fire hazard.
What consumers should do
Customers are advised to cease using the products and call 1300 138 774 or visit www.sunbeam.com.au/recall to determine if their product is affected. If your product is affected a replacement will be provided.

Identifying product features
The model number of the affected products is identified on the care label sewn on to the blanket: Regency model numbers: BA412R, BA415R, BA442R and BA445R Heritage model numbers: BA412C, BA415C, BA442C and BA445C Affected products can also be identified by the part number BL0215, moulded on the back of the detachable controller. Please see attached recall notice for a picture of the controller.
