Equipment powered by a Kawasaki FR, FS or FX series engine that has a fuel filter manufactured between May 2011 (date code 136/11) and August 2012 (date code 216/12) is eligible for this recall.
Eligible Kawasaki engines can be found in many popular ride-on mowers, wide area walk-behind mowers, and other small engine powered equipment.

Reason the product is recalled
The plastic weld between the fuel filter body and cap may not adequately seal the filter assembly. In the event the filter body is not sealed, fuel may leak from the filter housing.
The hazards to consumers
Fuel leaks may present a fire hazard.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop using affected machines immediately. Consumers should contact their nearest authorised dealership to make arrangements to have the fuel filter replaced free of charge.
