Some of the fur may come away when pulled, sucked or chewed with sufficient force.
The hazards to consumers
If fur becomes dislodged during use, it may pose a choking hazard to children aged 3 years and below. The toy complies with the Australian toy standard and the applicable regulation, however.
What consumers should do
Stop using the toy and contact Dulux on Freecall 1300 131 277 to exchange it for a replacement item.

Who sold the product
The product was not sold, but distributed by paint retailers to consumers as a promotional gift when consumers purchased 8 litres or more of Dulux Wash & Wear or Weathershield paint. The promotion was known as the 'Jelly Beans and me' promotion. Retailers distributing the product included those in the following chains/groups/categories: Mitre 10/True Value Group; John Danks & Sons; WA Hardware Services; Paint Specialists (retail and trade); Unaligned Independents; National Building Suppliers Group; Bunnings; and Masters. The promotion commenced on 15 August 2011 and ran until stock ran out.
