Reason the product is recalled

A short circuit can occur in the charger when multiple wand-style GDX wireless educational sensors with damaged electrical contacts are plugged into the charging station. This can cause the charger to overheat and catch fire.

Incidents have occurred. 

The hazards to consumers

There is a risk of a serious burn injury and/or property damage if the charging station overheats and catches fire.

What consumers should do

Consumers should stop using the product immediately and return them to Scientrific for repair, at no cost.
