Reasons the product is recalled
In certain situations, it is possible for the weld joining the front TV bracket post to the base plate to fail. This could allow the TV monitor to become detached from its stored position.
The hazards to consumers
If the defect occurs while the vehicle is in motion it may block the drivers view of the road, or strike the driver resulting in an injury.
What consumers should do
Contact your nearest dealer as soon as possible to arrange a mutually convenient time for modification work to be undertaken. The repair takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
