Consumers will have full information about a range of imported toothpaste and mouthwash products after Australian Competition and Consumer Commission intervention.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission obtained interlocutory orders, by consent, yesterday in the Federal Court, Melbourne against Aziz Properties and Services Pty Ltd and its sole officeholder, Dr Rodney Aziz.

A check of internet sales has revealed three dangerous babies' toys during the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission's Christmas toy survey.

"Today's recall of children's flotation devices is a timely reminder of the danger water can present to children. We must always supervise young children around swimming pools, dams and at the beach," Australian Competition and Consumer Commission Deputy Chairman, Mr Peter Kell, said today.
