The ACCC recently conducted a surveillance program to inspect the presence of banned small, high powered magnets which may be present in toys, games or novelty goods such as puzzle cubes, jewellery or construction modelling kits.
Over 100 children visit emergency rooms each year from incidents involving baby walkers, and the ACCC is urging parents and carers to be aware of the potential hazards if they are not used safely.
