The recalled product is a 3mL trial-sized sample tube intended for a few applications and is not available for individual sale. It is found in a sample set with 6 other products in the RE9 Advanced skincare line. This 7 product sample set is then sold in quantities of 10 packs for $24. These sample pack sets are not available to general consumers to purchase. Only authorised independent consultant distributors registered with Arbonne may purchase this sample set. The RRP and quantity of product affected are for this 10-pack of samples because the RE9 Advanced Restorative Day Crème SPF 15 3mL sample is not sold in any other manner.
Reasons the product is recalled
The product contains Enterobacter gergoviae bacteria.
The hazards to consumers
Enterobacter gergoviae may pose a risk of infection to immunocompromised individuals.
What consumers should do
All Arbonne Independent Consultants identified as having purchased this batch will be contacted by mail. If you have product with Lot Number 45284, do not use it. Please discard any unused recalled product in your possession.
