Reasons the product is recalled
The plastic arches can break near the ends, producing a small part that could present a choking hazard for infants and thereby breach the mandatory standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age, AS/NZS 8124.1:2002 (as amended by the regulation).
The hazards to consumers
If small-parts are liberated during use, this poses a potential choking hazard to young children.
What consumers should do
Immediately cease using the products and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
