The Indulgence blanket is a nylon blanket that is primarily sold to commercial customers under the Actil brand. Sheridan is making direct contact with these commercial customers. A further 227 blankets have been sold by Sheridan's Direct Factory Outlets between 19/02/07 and 21/05/07.
Reasons the product is recalled
Formaldehyde is present in a wide rang of everyday products. Testing has found the blanket contains levels of formaldehyde that exceed Sheridan's own product specifications and standards.
The hazards to consumers
Advice has been received that the formaldehyde levels in the new Indulgence blankets may pose a risk of short-term skin or respiratory irritation for some consumers.
