Reasons the product is recalled
In some isolated circumstances, the front leg joint on the seat base of the product may become loose and fail.
The hazards to consumers
If the leg joint on the seat base fails whilst in use, the chair might collapse and may cause injury.
What consumers should do
Consumers should check that their chairs are stable and that there are no signs of loosening or fracture. To check the stability of the chairs:
• turn the chairs over
• remove the Velcro dust covers
• inspect the front leg corner blocks to ensure they are properly attached.
