What are the defects?
When the product is folded into the 6 months+ mode it does not comply with the mandatory standard 'Trade Practices Act 1974 - Consumer Protection Notice No. 8 of 2007 - Consumer Product Safety Standard: Prams and Strollers'. The product does not come with the required brake, tether strap and warning labels.
What are the hazards?
If the product does not have the required safety features and warning labelling, it may not be used correctly, posing a risk of injury to the child.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should contact SmarTrike at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for collection and obtain a refund.
