Reporting

Under the Australian Consumer Law, suppliers are required to report any death, serious injury or serious illness associated with a consumer product or product-related service. Suppliers can also report safety incidents and concerns.

See more about mandatory reporting and voluntary reporting.

Recalls

Under the Australian Consumer Law, suppliers must notify us within 2 days after taking action to recall an unsafe consumer product. Taking action includes, but isn't limited to, removing the product from sale, contacting consumers, and offering to repair, replace or refund the product.

Suppliers must also report any death, serious injury or serious illness associated with a consumer product or product-related service. They can do this as part of their product safety recall form submission.
