Inflatable amusement products for home use

The ACCC has reviewed and updated guidance on the use of inflatable amusement products for home use. We wish to acknowledge those impacted by the tragic accident in Davenport, Tasmania in December 2021, where 6 children died while playing in a commercial jumping castle.

Banned small high powered magnets recalled following ACCC surveillance

The ACCC is concerned about reports of injuries, especially among children, relating to small high powered magnets. The ACCC recently conducted a surveillance program to inspect the presence of banned small, high powered magnets which may be present in toys, games or novelty goods such as puzzle cubes, jewellery or construction modelling kits.
