International standards for the safety of consumer products: criteria for acceptance

The ACCC has developed criteria used when considering and accepting international product safety standards. The publication identifies the three criteria the ACCC uses when developing and reviewing product safety standards and bans.

The ACCC held public consultation on the draft criteria from 11 May to 5 June 2016, which helped shape the final publication.
