New South Wales Fair Trading Minister Stuart Ayres today announced a statewide prohibition by Fair Trading on the sale of electric hot water bottles, also known as electric heat packs, due to the risk of death or injury from electric shock.
New South Wales Fair Trading product safety experts have inspected 346 show bags from eight suppliers to the 2014 Sydney Royal Easter Show, with no toys or novelty items failing tests.
