Reason the product is recalled
4CB163/6 Meter Isolator fitted in the 230DRAS Meter Box, may have the incorrect screw fitted on the lockout plate, causing electrical contact between the screw and metal bobbin assembly.
The hazards to consumers
A screw on the side of the meter isolator may be electrically live. There is a risk of electric shock if contact is made with this screw.
What consumers should do
If consumers have had electrical installation work carried out at their home or premises from January 2015 to July 2015 they may have had an affected product installed. They should contact Clipsal Direct on Tel # (1300 733 907) with full details so a replacement meter isolator can be organised as soon as possible. Consumers should not attempt to inspect or assess products themselves.
