Whilst the battery compartment is wired correctly, the product is being recalled because the batteries, which were packaged with the product, may overheat.
The hazards to consumers
The batteries may rupture or explode, which may cause corrosive material to leak or spray out with significant force, causing potential injury to the user.
What consumers should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the hand-held misting fan due to the potential hazard of the batteries supplied.
