Reason the product is recalled
When the screw is tightened in the screw connector, the connector housing may crack. In addition, if the cable is not properly secured in the housing this may cause a “hot spot” to develop and may pose a fire hazard.
The hazards to consumers
If the defect occurs, the product may pose an electrocution and/or fire hazard.
