Reason the product is recalled
On some units, the lower fuel pump clamp may have been installed incorrectly at the factory.
The hazards to consumers
If the clamp is installed incorrectly, fuel may leak into the engine compartment, creating the potential for an explosion and/or fire resulting in injury or death.
What consumers should do
Customers will be contacted by their Kawasaki dealer and referred to an authorised repairer for correct installation of the clamp if necessary.
