The affected products to be recalled are AC power adaptors marked with a TE Number of either TE0606 or TE0706 from phones of any of the following series sold on or from 1 July 2006. Telstra easytouch series, Telstra F5100 SMS, Telstra F5150 SMS, Telstra Edge series.

Reason the product is recalled

Some products may have a plastic moulding defect in the casing of their AC power adaptor. This could cause the casing of the AC power adaptor to separate and potentially expose the internal circuitry.

Switch off the power at the power point and disconnect the AC power adaptor from the mains power point and check the TE number. If your AC power adaptor is either TE0606 or TE0706 do not reconnect the AC power adaptor.
