Robotic in-ground pool cleaner
Reasons the product is recalled
Due to a manufacturing fault, the power supply does not have a required seal around its base and is therefore non-compliant with water igress rating requirements for prescribed swimming pool and spa equipment. Additionally, the power cords and plugs that are supplied with the units have not been certified for use with those units.
The hazards to consumers
The power supply unit is protected by an in-line RCD (residual-current device) as part of the power cord. In the worst case scenario, however, there is a risk of electric shock.
What consumers should do
Cease using the product immediately and return it to the place of purchase for a replacement power supply.
