Product description

The bunks were sold as single beds but could be purchased to transform them into bunks via a do-it yourself kit. Only the beds that have been converted into bunks are being recalled, the single Lodger or Village beds are unaffected. No other products in the Sleepmaker range are affected.

Reasons the product is recalled

Customers have contacted Sleepmaker to inform it that some of the bunks purchased had experienced welding breakages. No injuries have occurred.

The hazards to consumers

There is a risk of the structural welds failing which could result in a bunk collapsing causing injury.

Cease using bunks and call Sleepmaker on 1800 835 228 to receive a replacement or obtain a full refund.
