In addition, the labels do not contain the some of the other required information on the label.
What are the hazards?
Incorrect labelling of the vehicle jack may lead to misuse of the vehicle jack, which could lead to a vehicle collapsing on a user, causing severe injury or even death.
What should consumers do?
Affected consumers should contact Total Tools toll-free on 1800 868 258 (Monday – Friday, 8am to 6pm AEST) or visit your local store to discuss options for remediation.
Owners of jacks from Batch 7074142018 will receive a full refund or have their jack replaced.
