Model CBL25. This recall only affects blender Model Number CBL25 with batch numbers 324, 329, 340 and 343. The model number is located on the rating plate on the bottom of the motor base. This unit was first sold in late 2003.
Reasons the product is recalled
A potential risk has been identified where the blade may break when subjected to heavy loads, creating a risk of the metal blade remaining in the beverage if left undetected.
The hazards to consumers
Mechanical failure.
What consumers should do
Please discontinue use of the blender and call 1300 727 424 weekdays between 8.30am - 5.00pm to receive your free replacement Blade Assembly.
