The power bank can overheat and catch fire.
The hazards to consumers
Risk of serious burn injuries or property damage.
People have been seriously injured and property has been damaged from power banks overheating and catching on fire.
What consumers should do
Stop using the power bank immediately.
Return power bank to a retailer for a full refund. No receipt required.
JB Hifi, Officeworks, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Cygnett will provide a full refund for the power bank no matter where you purchased it from.
