Reasons the product is recalled
The product does not comply with the mandatory safety standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age. The leaves of the wooden stacking tree are small parts.
The hazards to consumers
Risk of choking, suffocation or death to young children if they put the small parts into their mouth.
What consumers should do
Consumers should remove the leaves from the toy immediately and dispose of them.
Consumers should contact Kaleidoscope to arrange replacement leaves to be sent to them free of charge.
Consumers will need to provide Kaleidoscope with evidence that the original leaves have been disposed of.
