Reasons the product is recalled
The glue used to secure the grip to the handle may have been defective and the hand grip on the Forearm Crutch is not securely affixed and may slip and/or detach from the crutch.
The hazards to consumers
If the handle grip slips or detaches from the crutch and the user becomes unstable, there is an increased risk of falls that may result in injury.
What consumers should do
Consumers should check the red sticker on the crutch to confirm the model and batch number. If you have Forearm Crutches with one of the affected batch numbers, immediately stop using the crutches and return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
