Reasons the product is recalled

Due to insufficient torque applied in the manufacturing process, the inflator's deflation button may unscrew.

The hazards to consumers

If the inflator's deflator button unscrews, there may be a loss of buoyancy, which poses a drowning hazard for the wearer.

What consumers should do

Consumers who have an affected product that has not yet been repaired should take their inflator to the retailer where the product was purchased to arrange repair.

Repaired inflators are marked with an engraved 'X' near the serial number. No further action is required if your inflator has this mark.
