Reasons the product is recalled

A small number of springs sold has been found to have brittle minor leaves (last, second last & third last). These can crack and become loose which may cause the U-bolts to come loose.

The hazards to consumers

The result of the loose U-bolts can be that the axle becomes loose on that side of the trailer and this may pose a hazard to driver and other road users.

What consumers should do

Consumers may examine the springs to see if they have the affected models or they can contact their nearest Martin's Trailer Parts store for inspection of the trailer and rectification if required.
