Kettles manufactured between October 2006 and December 2007. There is a four digit batch number located on the underside of the kettle. The four digit code represents the last two digits of the year followed by the week number of that year the product was manufactured. The kettles affected are coded from 0640 to 0752. Model numbers 42320RDE, 42321RDE, 42322RDE.42323RDE and42324RDE. The kettles were sold between November 2006 and March 2008.
Reasons the product is recalled
A potential risk has been identified where the heating element of the Raco Deco cordless kettle ruptures and causes the kettle to cease working. Some instances of sparking have been reported.

Stop using the Raco Deco cordless kettle and contact Meyer Cookware Australia on 1800 676 704 (am to 5pm weekdays) to obtain a refund.
