What are the defects?
Manufacturing residue may remain on the inner pocket of the carry cases that were provided with the headphones and may cause mould to form (Aspergillus).
What are the hazards?
The affected products are not likely to cause any adverse health effects in healthy individuals, however may pose a risk to people with weakened immune systems.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should cease using the product and check for residue in their carrying case and contact Panasonic to arrange for a replacement product, free of charge.
