Reasons the product is recalled

The wheelchair can drive at low speed/creeping in a circular motion without human steering.

The hazards to consumers

If the wheelchair automatically moves without steering, this poses a risk of injury to the occupant.

What consumers should do

Consumers should immediately cease the use of the mobility handles by disconnecting them, return all wheelchairs that have the affected handles installed to the place of purchase. A replacement attendant control will be fitted, with a refund of the difference in costs. For wheelchairs that have Mobility Handles fitted to a demo chair, return product that is potentially affected for correction and a full refund.
