Overheating and risk of fire or electric shock.

Consumers should stop using the charger immediately, switch off the power at the socket outlet and unplug it.
Smart Scooter ANZ Pty Ltd appears to be no longer trading and as a result there is no avenue for remediation for consumers.
The battery charger should not be used. Consumers should ensure that the unapproved chargers are destroyed and disposed of appropriately to eliminate any risk.
