Reason the product is recalled

A screw connecting the printed circuit assembly to the test lead input jack can work itself loose and result in intermittent voltage readings, including a ‘0’ reading when voltage is present.

The hazards to consumers

If the clamp meter is not reading correctly, users may be exposed to a potential electrocution hazard.

What consumers should do

1. Stop using your affected 37X series clamp meter(s) even if you have not experienced problems.

2. Verify that your clamp meter is affected using the serial numbers provided in the table.

3. If the product falls within the serial number range, return the unit to Celemetrix for repair.
