The main body of the USB travel charger may become separated from the detachable 2 pin plug, leaving the 2 pin plug in the electrical socket. If this happens, live pins will be exposed.
The hazards to consumers
There is a risk of electric shock which can cause serious injury or death if the pins are touched while in the electrical socket.
What consumers should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the travel charger and return it to their nearest Officeworks store for a full refund.
