Reason the product is recalled

A proportion of these extinguishers are fitted with valve stems longer than standard, which may result in operational wear to their spindle tops. The hazard only applies to fire extinguishers that have been subjected to conditions of excessive vibration, high temperatures and aggressive handling.

The hazards to consumers

The fire extinguishers may fail to operate due to damage caused to their spindle tops during use.

What consumers should do

Return product to place of purchase or direct to Bulbeck Fire Industries for a new replacement extinguisher.
