Reason the product is recalled

The heater may overheat or short circuit due to a manufacturing fault.

The hazards to consumers

There is a risk of serious injury, death or property damage from crash or fire if the heater overheats and emits smoke or starts a fire.

What consumers should do

Stop using these products immediately and contact Honda Australia Motorcycle and Power Equipment Pty Ltd to arrange a repair. Please note that replacement parts will not be available until early 2025, repairs will not occur until this time.

To continue using your vehicle safely while replacement parts are prepared, please turn the fan control knob to the "OFF" position, and then remove the accessory heater’s fuse from the fuse box following the instructions below.  

If you do not feel comfortable performing these steps, please contact an authorised Honda Motorcycles dealer for assistance. Your dealer will safely disable the accessory heater for free until it can be repaired.

If you are not the only rider of this vehicle, please advise all other riders and passengers of this important information.
