Reason the product is recalled
The stem spacer fitted to this model may not produce sufficient tension to securely fasten the handlebar to the stem and in certain circumstances may allow the handlebar to rotate.
The hazards to consumers
The handlebars could suddenly rotate, causing the rider to lose control of the bicycle and suffer personal injury.
What consumers should do
Consurmers should not ride the bicycle and should return it to their nearest authorised Argon 18 dealer for modification. Customers may contact FRF on (02) 9559 9000 or email michael@frf.com.au to arrange for the repair to be carried out.
