The product does not comply with the performance or labelling requirements of the mandatory standard 'Consumer Protection Notice No. 1 of 2010 - Consumer Product Safety Standard: Vehicle Jacks'.

Incorrect labelling on the product or packaging may result in misuse of the product and the jacks do not reach 200% of the nominated capacity.

The hazards to consumers

If users reach the weight limit, the jack may bend or break. Incorrect use of the product due to incorrect labelling may lead to a vehicle collapsing on a consumer, causing severe injury or even death.

What consumers should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return the product for a full refund.
