Single 1.5m thick elastic cord with flat metal hooks attached at each end – various colours (APN 6938383130356). Elastic luggage straps were available for purchase at Direct Savings discount store City and Stones Corner and I-Life Factory store at Fortitude Valley from October 2008 to December 2008.

Reason the product is recalled
The product does not comply with the Trade Practices Act standard for elastic luggage straps. The luggage straps must bear a warning that is permanently attached to the strap: "WARNING. Avoid eye injury. DO NOT overstretch. ALWAYS keep face and body out of recoil path. DO NOT use when strap has visible signs of wear or damage". The cords did not bear this warning label on the product.
