Reason the product is recalled

The steel wire frame of the tent can break during use. This can cause sharp wire ends to protrude through the tent fabric, creating a risk of a laceration or puncture wound injury to a child playing with the tent.

The hazards to consumers

Risk of laceration/puncture injury from contact with sharp metal edges/points.

At IKEA, children are the most important people in the world and we never compromise on the safety of our products. IKEA kindly asks customers who have the BUSA children’s folding tent to immediately take the tent away from children and bring it back to any IKEA store where they will receive a full refund.
