Reason the product is recalled
If the product is not used in accordance with the operating instructions, elevated levels of carbon monoxide may be emitted when the knob is set at a specific position between ON and OFF.
The hazards to consumers
If the heater is operated in a confined space there is a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning to the user.
What consumers should do
Consumers should look at the back of the heater to check the serial number. If the heater is in the affected serial number range, consumers should stop using it immediately and return it to Supercheap Auto for a full refund.
