Reason the product is recalled

Some vehicles may have been delivered or repaired with dynamic power steering (DPS) that has cracks on its main shaft. Pieces may detach inside the DPS and cause gears to jam, resulting in a sudden limitation of the vehicle steering range.

The hazards to consumers

In some situations the operator could lose control of the vehicle, causing serious injuries or even death.

What consumers should do

Call an authorized BRP Can Am ATV dealer and make an appointment to have your ATV repaired. The dealer will perform this work at no charge to the consumer.
