Reason the product is recalled

The product does not comply with the mandatory standard 'Trade Practices Act 1974 Consumer Protection Notice No. 1 of 2003 Consumer Product Safety Standard: Bunk Beds'.

The bunk bed does not meet the standard requirements for allowable protrusions, gaps between bars in the guardrails and the required labelling.

The hazards to consumers

The bunk bed poses potential entrapment, fall and strangulation hazards that could result in injury to children.

What consumers should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the bunk bed and contact Priceworth Furniture or HEQS International Pty Ltd to arrange a replacement or full refund.
