In limited circumstances, a combination of high heat and humidity may cause an electrical capacitor to fail.

If the defect occurs, this results in a fire hazard to consumers.
What consumers should do
Check the model number and serial number of your 7kg Condenser Tumble Dryer. The serial number is on the rating plate (see attached) and is 10 digits long. The first 2 digits of the serial number give the year of production and the last 2 digits give the month of production. All affected products were manufactured between May and October 2012. If your model and serial number matches those attached, please contact Beko Australia & New Zealand on 1300282356.
